Resell India-built business email. Earn recurring commission.
Everything a partner, or a business thinking about becoming one, needs in one place: eligibility, application, the partner panel, commission slabs, wallet and settlement, billing, tenders and the rules. It mirrors what the XgenPlus site and your panel say, so there are no surprises.
At a glance
The XgenPlus Partner Program is a reseller program. An IT business sells XgenPlus business email to its own clients, keeps the client relationship, and earns a recurring commission on every order and every renewal. XgenPlus runs the servers, security, deliverability and uptime.
Recurring and sticky
Commission follows the domain. You earn on the first order and on every renewal, even when the customer renews directly.
Volume slab
15% for 1 to 3 active domains, 17% for 4 to 6, 20% for 7 or more. Calculated on full list price, before GST.
Your name on the deal
Invoice under your own name and keep the relationship. The customer never sees the commission.
Zero infrastructure
No servers, no support desk to run. You manage clients and domains from a Partner panel inside the dashboard.
What Google cannot match
Mailboxes on .भारत and other Indian-script domains, an on-premise option, and GeM co-bidding with a manufacturer authorisation form.
Made in India
Data hosted in India, which matters for the DPDP Act, RBI and CERT-In expectations your clients are already asking about.
Who can partner
Anyone whose clients already trust them with their technology. Joining is free and there is no minimum commitment.
Value-Added Resellers
Provide deployment and first-line support to your customers while growing a recurring email line.
System Integrators
Integrate XgenPlus into government, PSU and enterprise projects. Deploy on-premise in the customer's data centre or on cloud, with co-bidding support.
Managed Service Providers
Own the full customer journey, from sale to end-to-end support, using the partner panel for every domain.
ISPs and hosting or domain resellers
Add business email to the services your customers already buy from you.
Web and digital agencies
Every website you build needs email on its domain. Register it, earn on it, keep the client.
CAs, consultants and freelancers
Your clients ask you what to use. Recommend it, register it for them, and earn on every renewal.
What we look for
- An active business, IT service or consultancy with a focus on software, hosting or communication solutions.
- Some experience with cloud email or IT solutions.
- A named point of contact to work with the XgenPlus partner team.
- The ability to handle your own customers' sales, onboarding and first-line support.
How to apply
- Apply Fill the two-minute application on the Partner Program page: business, contact, tax details and documents. Your draft is saved as you type.
- Get approved We review within one business day. On approval you receive a welcome email with your partner code, your referral link and a set-password link valid for 72 hours.
- Sign in Set your password from that link, then sign in at the Partner sign-in page. Partners are not customer accounts; use the partner door, not the customer login.
- Add your first customer Open Customers, add the customer's contact details, then register their domain from the customer page. Your first commission accrues when that order is paid.
Documents for an India-registered business
- PAN and GSTIN (both required). PAN is also needed before commission can be settled, because tax is deducted at source. Bank name, account number, IFSC and account holder name are required at application too, used to pay out your commission; you can update them later in the Account tab of the partner dashboard.
- Three uploads: company registration, PAN card, GSTIN certificate. PNG, JPG, PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 6 MB each.
- One application per email address. If you have already been approved, sign in instead of applying again.
For a business outside India the tax fields and uploads are optional at application. International reselling is allowed as long as you comply with local data and compliance rules.
Commission slabs
Your rate is a volume slab on the total number of active commissioned domains in your book. It is recomputed on every paid order and only ever moves up as you grow.
| Rule | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Base | Commission is calculated on the order net before GST: full list price minus any promo discount. GST is never commissioned. |
| Every order type | New domains, added users and renewals all earn the slab. There is no lower renewal rate. |
| Counting including itself | A new domain earns the slab for the count that includes it. Your fourth active domain earns 17% from its first order. |
| Re-rating at renewal | An existing domain moves up to your current slab at its own renewal, never mid-term. Growing your book never lowers a rate. |
| Active means active | Only currently active domains count. A domain starts counting once its first non-trial order is at least ₹500 before GST or 2 mailboxes. An expired domain stops counting; trial domains never count. |
| Sticky to the domain | Once a domain is attributed to you, its renewals keep paying you even when the customer renews on their own. |
| Per-order record | Every commission entry in your ledger stores the exact rate applied to that order. Your panel shows the live slab table; it is never hard-coded. |
Earnings estimator
A quick, honest estimate. It applies the slab for your domain count to the annual list value, before GST. Real earnings depend on the plans your customers choose and on renewals.
Prices are per user per month, billed annually. GST is added on invoices and is not commissioned.
Plans you sell
Every plan includes everything cheaper plans have. Prices are per user per month, billed annually, in Indian rupees. Your customer pays exactly this list price; your commission comes on top and is never shown to them.
| Plan | Price | Storage per user | Fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| XGEN Starter | ₹21 | 2 GB | Small teams starting out |
| XGEN Starter Pro | ₹31 | 5 GB | Growing small business |
| XGEN Premium Most popular | ₹50 | 10 GB | Business email with AI drafting and collaboration |
| XGEN Advance | ₹85 | 30 GB | Heavier mail volumes, larger attachments |
| XGEN Advance Pro | ₹111 | 50 GB | Security-focused organisations |
| XGEN Enterprise | ₹167 | 100 GB | Regulated and large enterprises |
| XGEN Enterprise Pro | ₹399 | Unlimited | Sales-assisted; contact the partner team |
| XGEN Platinum | Custom | Custom | On-premise and bespoke deployments |
Full feature matrix: xgenplus.com/pricing.html. Trial domains (₹2) never count toward your slab.
Versus Google Workspace reselling
The honest recruiting math is not the headline percentage. It is what you are allowed to build on top of it.
| What you get | XgenPlus partner | Google Workspace reseller |
|---|---|---|
| Sell and invoice under your own name | Yes | Partial |
| Commission on renewals | Yes, sticky, even if the customer renews | Limited |
| Commission rate | 15 to 20%, grows with volume | About 12% |
| IDN and .भारत mailboxes | Yes | No |
| On-premise option | Yes | No |
| GeM and government co-bidding | Yes, MAF and Make-in-India docs | No |
| Made in India, data in India | Yes | No |
| Cost to join | ₹0 | ₹0 |
Worked example
Twenty client domains at fifteen mailboxes each on XGEN Advance (₹85 per user per month) is roughly ₹3.06 lakh of annual list value. At the 20% slab that is about ₹61,000 a year in recurring commission, and it grows with every domain and every renewal.
Your partner panel
There is no separate partner website. You sign in at the partner door and land in the standard XgenPlus dashboard, and the dashboard switches to partner mode: Overview, Customers, Commission, Activity and Account down the left. Your own domains, if you have any, sit below under My own domains.
Summary tiles
Wallet balance, commission accrued, commission settled, active domains and your current slab, with the ladder of what unlocks next.
Referral link
Your personal link, xgenplus.com/buy.html?pref=YOURCODE. Anyone who buys through it becomes your referred customer and their domain is attributed to you.
Customers
Your book of customers with contact details, domain counts and commission per customer. Open one to see its domains, its own ledger and its history.
Commission ledger and claims
Every entry: date, customer, domain, invoice number, order type, order net, rate applied, commission and status. Invoice numbers on managed customers link to the PDF. The Commission claims card is where you settle: claim, download the proforma, and see when it was paid.
Credit (wallet)
Prepaid credit, labelled Credit in the panel, that you recharge by card or UPI and that receives your commission settlements. Shown as one balance with a full ledger. Paying a customer's order from it inside the buy wizard is not live yet.
Tender desk
Register a tender or deal from inside the panel. The tender team responds in the same place with the authorisation and bid pack.
Where things are
- Overview: credit balance, commission accrued and settled, your slab and the ladder, quick actions, and the Commission claims card.
- Customers: your book. Open a customer to see their domains, add a domain or service for them, and read their ledger and invoices.
- Commission: the full ledger, every entry with invoice number, rate and status.
- Activity: everything that happened, in plain words, with filters.
- Account: profile and payout details, tax identity, credit top-up and ledger, referral link and the tender desk. Not everyday, but always one click away.
- My own domains: shown only when your partner org owns a domain itself. Domains, DNS, Users, Subscriptions and Billing for those domains work exactly as they do for any customer.
- Sign out returns you to the partner sign-in page, not the customer login.
Customers and domains
A customer is a record in your book. Domains attach to a customer. Getting this order right is what keeps every renewal attributed to you.
Two kinds of customer
Managed you register
You add the customer's contact details, then register and manage their domains on their behalf: DNS, users, renewals, added users. Full control from your panel.
Referred they bought via your link
The customer bought in their own account through your referral link. They own their account; you see their domains and earn on every order they place. The link binds when their account is created, within 30 days of the first click, and does not attach to an organisation that already exists. For an existing XgenPlus customer, use an attach request instead.
Registering a domain for a customer, step by step
- Existing customer Open Customers, open the customer, click Add domain. The buy wizard opens already tagged to that customer, with their GSTIN prefilled. Nothing you type there can create a second customer record.
- New customer On the Domains tab, click Add domain and choose A new customer. Save the contact details first; the wizard then opens tagged to the new record. If a customer with the same name or email already exists you are offered to open it instead.
- Your own organisation The same chooser offers My own organisation for a domain that is genuinely yours. Your own domains never earn commission.
- Pay and verify Complete the wizard as usual. After payment you see the commission you earned on that order at your slab, and you land back on the customer's page with DNS setup open. Verification must complete before mail flows.
- Emails go to you, not the customer. Every order you place from a customer page is your transaction: activation, login id, DNS setup and invoice emails come to your partner email only. Your customer receives nothing from XgenPlus, so you decide what to forward and when. If you later enable dashboard access for the customer's domain admin, that invitation goes to the admin address you set.
Already have a customer on XgenPlus?
If a client already uses XgenPlus and wants you to manage them, submit an attach request from the panel with the domain and a note. The partner team reviews it manually. One partner per customer; the first attribution holds.
Billing and invoices
- Every order bills at full list price. There is no partner discount on the invoice; your earning is the commission, accounted separately in your ledger.
- Invoice in your name. Every order you place from a customer page is invoiced to you: your legal name, GSTIN and contact from your partner profile, at full list price. Billing a specific order in the customer's name instead, with their legal name, GSTIN and state and an optional Reseller Partner: your company line, is supported by the platform but is not yet a toggle in the buy wizard. Ask the partner team to set it for that order.
- The customer never sees commission. It appears on no invoice, email or customer-facing document.
- GST is charged on invoices at the applicable rate and is excluded from the commission base.
- Renewals follow the same rule. When a customer renews directly, the invoice is theirs and the commission is still yours.
- Activity. The Activity tab in your dashboard lists every business event in plain words: customer added, plan bought or renewed on which domain and for how much with the invoice attached, commission earned, claims raised and paid, credit added, profile changes, plus every email we sent. Filter by Orders, Customers, Money and profile, or Messages sent.
- Downloading invoices. Your own orders are in the Billing tab. Invoices for a managed customer's orders are on that customer's page under Customers, and every invoice number in your commission ledger links to its PDF. A referred customer's invoices belong to them and are not shown. Credit top-ups produce a receipt email and a ledger entry, not a tax invoice; every credit-side ledger line has a downloadable receipt and every order debit links to the order invoice.
Wallet, settlement and tax
The prepaid wallet
- Recharge by card or UPI from the Account tab, minimum ₹5,000 per top-up. A recharge creates its own invoice.
- Orders, renewals and added users are paid by card, UPI or netbanking in the buy wizard today. Paying them directly from credit is on the roadmap; until then, ask the partner team if you need credit applied to a specific order.
- The wallet is a full ledger. Every credit and debit is an immutable entry and the balance always equals the sum of entries.
Settlement: claim your commission
- Commission accrues when an order is paid and shows as accrued in your ledger.
- You settle it yourself. On the Overview, the Commission claims card shows what is claimable now. Press Claim your commission once it reaches the minimum of ₹5,000.
- A claim is a break point. Every eligible entry moves to settled under one claim number, your accrued figure restarts from zero, and your slab is untouched.
- A proforma invoice is generated for the claim (gross commission, GST at 18% if you are GST-registered, TDS under Section 194H, net payable) and emailed to you with a copy to accounts. You can download it from the claims table at any time.
- Legal name, PAN and GSTIN are on the Profile and payout details card in the Account tab too. They print on every invoice and proforma and drive TDS, so a change is a request: the XgenPlus sales team checks it against your certificate and applies it, and you get an email either way. Until then the current values stay in force. Bank account and registered address save straight away.
- Payment is made by bank transfer to the account in your Profile and payout details card in the Account tab. Keep it current; a change of account is emailed to you and to accounts and verified before the next payment. You cannot claim without an account on file.
- For a managed customer, commission on a domain becomes claimable only after that domain completes DNS verification. Finish setup, or the entry waits for your next claim.
Refunds and chargebacks
A refund or chargeback on a commissioned order reverses the matching commission pro-rata. If it was already settled, the reversal is debited from your wallet and any negative balance is netted against future accruals.
Tax
- PAN is required before commission can be settled. Recharges are capped until PAN is on file.
- Commission is a trade payable and tax is deducted at source under Section 194H. The TDS share is recorded against each settled entry so your CA can reconcile it.
- Your ledger is exportable on request for GST and TDS reconciliation.
Selling as your own service
What is true today, stated plainly so you can promise it to clients with confidence.
| Capability | Today |
|---|---|
| Sell under your own name and own the relationship | Yes |
| Invoice in your own name | Yes |
| Invoice in the customer's name with a Reseller Partner line | Through the partner team, per order |
| Commission invisible to the customer | Yes |
| Manage DNS, users and renewals on the customer's behalf | Yes |
| XgenPlus Partner logo on your website and materials | Yes |
| Your own logo inside webmail and the admin panel (full white-label) | On the roadmap |
Say "own-name reselling, yes; full product white-label is coming". Never promise a fully rebranded product until it ships.
Government and tenders
Government and PSU buying is a tender and GeM channel, not a web search. XgenPlus co-bids with partners and system integrators.
- Register the tender in your panel with the reference, authority and due date. The tender desk responds there with the manufacturer authorisation form (MAF) and the bid pack, or a decline with a reason.
- Deal registration protection. The first partner to register a tender holds it. Register early.
- Make-in-India documentation and the on-premise deployment option are available for eligible bids.
- Proof points you can cite: BSNL, HAL and other national deployments, and the founder's ICANN and Universal Acceptance work behind IDN email.

Program rules

- One partner per customer. A customer organisation is attributed to one partner. The first attribution holds; disputes go to the partner team.
- Active domains only. Expired domains stop counting toward your slab. Trial domains never count.
- Managed customers are real. A managed customer with paid domains cannot be deleted from the panel; release or transfer is handled by the partner team.
- No sales targets. There is no minimum commitment. Consistent engagement keeps you eligible for leads and the benefits above.

- Terms on approval. Your exact terms, including any custom arrangement, are confirmed in writing when you are approved.
Frequently asked questions
How much commission do XgenPlus partners earn?
A recurring volume-based commission on your total active domains: 15% up to 3 domains, 17% for 4 to 6, and 20% for 7 or more, calculated on full list price before GST. It recurs on every renewal, and each existing domain re-rates up to your current slab at its next renewal. Exact terms are confirmed on approval.
Is the commission really recurring, including on renewals?
Yes. Commission is sticky to the domain. You earn on the first order and on every renewal after it, even when the customer renews on their own.
Do I need my own servers or a technical team?
No. XgenPlus runs the infrastructure, security, deliverability and uptime. You manage the client relationship and their domains from the partner panel.
Can I sell it as my own service?
Yes. You own the customer relationship, invoice under your own name, and manage their domains on their behalf. Billing in the customer's name with a Reseller Partner line can be arranged through the partner team. The email product and webmail carry XgenPlus branding today; a fully reseller-branded product is on the roadmap.
How do I add a domain to a customer I already have?
Open the customer under Customers and click Add domain there. The wizard opens tagged to that customer, so the domain and every renewal attach to the right record. Use the Domains-tab Add domain only for a brand-new customer or your own organisation.
What happens if a customer signs up through my link?
They become a referred customer. They own their account, and their domain and every order on it are attributed to you at your slab.
How is this different from being a Google Workspace reseller?
Google reselling gives a thin cut of about 12% with limited renewal economics. XgenPlus pays 15 to 20%, lets you invoice under your own name, keeps the renewal commission sticky, and adds IDN mailboxes, an on-premise option and GeM co-bidding.
When do I get paid?
Whenever you claim. Commission accrues when an order is paid; once your claimable amount reaches ₹5,000 you press Claim your commission on the Overview. That settles the entries, generates a proforma invoice, and accounts pays the net amount to your bank account. PAN must be on file because tax is deducted at source.
Can I pay for a customer's order from my credit balance?
Yes. When you have credit, the buy wizard offers it as the payment method for any order you place, for yourself or for a customer, and the order is settled from credit without a gateway payment. Top up from the Account tab.
Are there sales targets or minimum commitments?
No strict targets. Consistent engagement and active promotion keep you eligible for leads and the higher-tier benefits.
Can I resell outside India?
Yes, provided you comply with local data and compliance regulations. Tax documents are optional at application for non-Indian businesses.
Who can I contact?
Write to partner@xgenplus.com. For a specific payout date or a custom arrangement, the partner team will confirm in writing.
