There’s a good news for Urdu knowing people; they can now book domain or website name in Urdu. Indian IT start-up firm Data Group on Wednesday launched domain booking service for free in seven Indian language scripts — Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Gujrati, Punjabi and Marathi.

According to the details provided by the Data group, the project has been designed to enable technology for promotion of content in local languages. This will help people develop content in Indian languages and provide access to those who don’t read and write English. Data group is the first company to start the service. While the name of website can be registered for free, the company is offering creation of email id in the price range of Rs 100 per month to Rs 1,500 per year.
